Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Egyptian Vascular Society we warmly welcome you to this congress
which brings together the 18th Annual Meeting of the Society with Kasr Al Ainy Vascular
Symposium.
The theme of this year’s conference is “patient safety and innovation in modern vascular
practice”. Through panel discussions, lectures and workshops, the programme will
explore controversies, updates and guidelines across the entire spectrum of vascular and
endovascular surgery. It will also aim to initiate a dialogue with our regulators on the
standards and governance of the practice. With a large number of distinguished national
and international faculty, sharing their experience and generating debates and interactive
discussions, this promises to be an exciting programme.
This year’s congress will be held in collaboration with the European Society of Vascular
Surgery (ESVS), the Society of Vascular Surgery UK and Leeds Vascular Institute (LVI).
We are very grateful to our Egyptian and international faculty who gave up their time to
enrich this conference.
